LMI CUSTOM MIXING HIRES PLANT ENGINEER

LMI Custom Mixing LLC., a state-of-the-art custom polymer mixer has appointed Garry Lute to the position of Plant Engineer.

LMI Custom Mixing LLC., a state-of-the-art custom polymer mixer has appointed Garry Lute to the position of Plant Engineer.

 

Under the supervision of Jim Nixon, General Manager, Lute will work to reduce equipment downtime and improve plant throughput. He will be responsible for designing, planning and building mechanical and electrical systems as needed. He will support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives as well as take the lead on electromechanical safety.

 

Prior to accepting his position at LMI, Lute was previously employed for two years at Tusco Display as a plant engineer. He attended Indian Valley High School and later earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Akron. Lute currently resides in New Philadelphia, with his wife Deidra and two children Hank and Clara. Lute is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and tinkering in his garage.
