LMI Custom Mixing LLC., a state-of-the-art custom polymer mixer has appointed Chad Werkmeister to the position of Continuous Improvement Specialist.
Under the supervision of Jim Nixon, General Manager of LMI Custom Mixing, Werkmeister will lead and develop teams in order to identify opportunities for improvement at all levels. To do so, he will lead kaizen teams, eliminate waste in processes, coach team members in new techniques and track projects to report on savings.
Prior to accepting his position at LMI, Werkmeister was previously employed for eight years at Gates Rubber Company as a production supervisor. He attended Maywood High School and later earned a BS in economics from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Werkmeister will be relocating to Cambridge from Columbia, MO, with his wife Lisa and two children Alex and Makenna.
