Collett, will co-deliver a keynote speech, "Security Innovations for Today's Campus Threats," at the One2One by ISC Security Summit for campus security executives, on Wednesday, June 2. Dr. Fierman and Mr. Collett will discuss today's key security issues and challenges faced in campus and multi-use environments, and related emerging security technologies and solutions. For the One2One Summit keynote, former U.S. Secret Service Agent and IPC International COO Russell Collett will speak about today's business challenges and global threats that are influencing security efforts and the latest, innovative assessment, strategy and prevention measures being deployed to address emerging risk in providing optimal levels of security.
At IPC, Mr. Collett oversees the day-to-day operations of an international company with over 4500 highly trained personnel providing unparalleled security at first-class properties throughout the United States and United Kingdom. As a retired U.S. Secret Service high-ranking official, Collett brings over 25 years of experience planning successful security for U.S. Presidents, world leaders, and our nation's critical infrastructure and key assets. Collett also directed the Service's financial, cyber and electronic crime investigations in Chicago, one of the agency's largest field districts, and was assigned to the prestigious Presidential Protective Division for over seven years where he held various leadership positions protecting President William J. Clinton, President George W. Bush and supervising security of the entire White House complex.
Dr. Fierman will speak about the challenges that all organizations must deal with today as they put systems and solutions in place to maximize their safety and security programs, while implementing them with thorough effectiveness. He will speak to emerging technologies and platforms that organizations can use to more effectively plan, prepare for and respond to emergency incidents, and to better engage with first responders. Dr. Fierman has a diverse background serving as a practitioner as well as an executive administrator in private, non-profit and public sectors of business.
